          Regional Passport Office, Chennai is primarily responsible for issuance of Indian Passports to the Citizens of India who are residing within its jurisdictional area. Submission of applications in Regional Passport Office, Chennai can also be done through Travel Agents authorized by the Regional Passport Office.

Requirements for Fresh Passport:

  • 4 Photograph (3.5 * 3.5 cm)
  • Ration Card
  • Election ID
  • Bank Passbook (or) one year statement with covering letter from bank manager

NOTE:

If you hold only Ration Card please provide us any ID Proof like

  • Driving Licenses
  • Bank Passbook
  • ID Card from Reputed Company with letter from employer on letter head

Date of Birth Proof

  • Applicant born on/after 26.01.1989 should provide their Birth Certificate

School Certificate

  • 12th Mark Sheet
  • SSLC Mark Sheet
  • Transfer Certificate

Birth Certificate

Not Objection Certificate

  • Employees of Government and Public sector should produce NOC & ANNEXURE

Married Woman

  • Should provide their marriage certificate (or) Joint Photo
